Is Blazing Pianos?
Blazing Pianos is a lively and highly entertaining live music
show featuring non-stop uptempo party music. The audience can
watch in amazement as two keyboard players on stage together,
sing and play their pianos at blistering pace, keeping the atmosphere
lively and high energy.
History
The concept of two pianists on stage together isn't new. It actaully
originated in the USA in the piano bars of the deep South where
the shows were often billed as "Dueling Pianos" or "Duelling
Pianos" depending on the spelling. In the American versions
of the show, the music usually consisted of just piano, nothing
else (which was fine for the laid back atmosphere of the New orleans
piano bars).
However we've brought this great show right up to date for the
21st century and adapted it to suit a UK market. The music is
modern and lively and ALL the songs are upbeat to get the crowd
dancing and cheering along. Using the very latest electronic piano
keyboards, Robert & Kenny create the incredible sound of a
nine-piece band, making for a fast-paced show and an exhilerating
experience for the audience.
The Performers
Robert Wishart & Kenny Campbell are two of the most sought
after Scottish keyboard entertainers. So by teaming up together
